暑い日が続いていますが、みなさん暑さに負けず元気に過ごしていますか。
もうすぐ1学期が終わりますね。
英検の結果、学校の試験の結果はどうでしたか。
満足できた人も、できなかった人も、夏休みを有意義に使ってレベルアップしましょうね。

今月は留学先のお世話になったホストファミリーに向けてお礼状を書く練習をしましょう。
お礼状は様々な場面で書く機会があると思います。しっかり練習しておきましょう。

 

How to write a thank you letter to a host family.

This month we’d like to show you how to write a thank you card.
You can use it for various occasions.

Makiko is writing a thank you card to her host parents.

Practice the two patterns.

 

Pattern 1: (To your host parents)

    I was asked the way to the nearest station by an American boy yesterday.
